As a Gift Floral Specialist with The Fresh Market you will be responsible for working closely with Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers in order to create The Fresh Market environment and ensure the success of the store and department through excellent customer service and a demonstrated passion for flowers. The Gift Floral Specialist will actively engage and educate customers about The Fresh Market’s variety of cut flowers, potted plants, and department products. The Gift/Floral Specialist will demonstrate a high level of integrity with department products, with store employees and our customers. A respect for detail by the Gift Floral Specialist will ensure that we remain focused on creating a wonderful experience for our customers. The Fresh Market Gift Floral Specialist will lead by example and be expected to create a warm and safe environment for all those who visit our stores.

The Fresh Market requires knowledge and experience in a retail environment with a focus in floral design and presentation. The ideal Gift Floral Specialist Job candidate must have demonstrated excellent communication and leadership skills and possess basic math skills for ordering and inventory. The Fresh Market will require demonstrated multi-tasking skills. Strong merchandising skills are preferred. The ideal Gift Floral Specialist Job candidate must be highly motivated with a sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment at all times with all levels of employees. Demonstrated excellent people skills are required for all positions within The Fresh Market. The Gift Floral Specialist Job requires standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects.
